INSTALLATION ENGINEER
Permanent Full Time – 42.5 hour contract with flexibility to meet the needs of the business. Overtime and On Call rates apply.
A business built on delivering a responsive, quality service to a wide range of clients, we are looking for Installation Engineers to join our existing team. You will be required to offer a flexible “can-do”, reliable and responsible approach, willing to travel to locations across the UK, installing and dismantling equipment and offering and on call service, working alongside other engineers and other skilled and semi-skilled colleagues. In between periods of scheduled work, you will also spend time in our Warehouse/Workshop environment whereby you will be expected to undertake warehouse, labouring duties and tasks to enhance knowledge and familiarisation of our kit/equipment.
Installing HVAC equipment, you will display a can do approach to your work, take pride in the quality of your installation, provide a customer focused approach and be able to liaise with clients and other service providers on sites. The role involves installing and dismantling HVAC and plant equipment, ensuring equipment is fitted appropriately and dismantled and returned in good working order for re-hire. You will ensure all Health & Safety practices are adhered to and have a good understanding of RAMS to ensure Health & Safety procedures are consistently met.

Supported by an Operations Admin and Warehouse/Service team, you will be asked to work on contracts across the UK, offering a positive, flexible approach as we work to both pre-planned and reactive work schedules. You will be expected to be competent in installation of HVAC, AHU, Chiller and Heating equipment and ducting and be able to identify and fix faults.
You will ideally be an experienced fitter, be mechanically or electrically competent (ideally having mechanical and/or electrical qualifications). Preferably you will hold a City & Guilds F-Gas qualification although this is not essential. You will be able to show initiative and undertake multi-skilled tasks and requirements on site.
You will need a Full UK Driving Licence and ideally have a valid CSCS/SKILLcard. FLT licences and powered access licences would be desirable. You will have an awareness of health & safety practices, including familiarisation of working with Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Due to the nature of some of our projects, you will also be required to undertake a DBS check (formerly known as a CRB check).
Where the work requires you travel and be away from home, allocated vans, mobile phone, fuel cards and accommodation will be provided. You will be required to respond to client call-outs working on a rota’d 24 hour weekly on call rota. Hours over and above contracted hours are paid at enhanced overtime rates, night out and on call payments are in place to boost your income.
